I am currently a certified teacher for Elementary School in Special Education and General Education. Over the past 10 years, I have taught as an elementary school teacher in New York City. During this time, I have taught all elementary school grades, which gives me the knowledge, and expertise I bring to my students after school privately tutoring. After school, I typically tutor a variety of elementary students. In addition, since I am currently working as a teacher during the day I have endless resources that I typically bring to each session. While tutoring, I always customize and individualize the needs for the specific student. When providing a student with the proper support and motivation their gaps in learning begin to close. Every student learns differently so it is important to provide patience and consistency in order for outstanding results. All of the students I have had the opportunity to work with have had great success and now are on grade level or even above.
