#### Education

University at Albany - BS, Physics#### Experience

I hold a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Albany. I plan on eventually earning a PhD in Physics so that I can teach physics at the college level. While I was enrolled in college, I helped science and math students who sought tutoring assistance through the Equal Opportunity Program. I tutored students in a wide range of science and math-related topic areas, including Physics and Calculus I and II. I enjoy teaching Physics the most because it makes you think differently. Mastering one key concept often leads to total understanding. That's why I break down complex problems into more basic concepts. Step-by-step, I guide my student to total understanding so that he or she can build a foundation they can build upon as they solve multiple problems and progress to higher levels of understanding. I enjoy seeing the expression on a student's face when he or she is making progress. It takes patience to tutor individual students or teach groups of students, but it is rich and rewarding work. I am glad that I get to bring out the best in every student I tutor! What do I do when I'm not tutoring? I love to create art, exercise, and spend time reading.#### Hobbies

Reading, running, studying foreign languages, drawing and painting#### Preferred Subjects

Algebra, Algebra 2, Calculus, Differential Equations, Geometry, Math, Middle School Math, Physics, Pre-Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Science
